      If you're having problems figuring this out then you might want to consult with a professional trainer or a doctor to put yoruself on the right track and to be able to understand the progress you're making.

        A lot of times it's very hard to tell. I'd talk to your doctor or another expert to get a better idea, but even they won't know 100 percent.

          I don't think that there is any real way to tell unless you actually start to visually see what you're losing either fat or muscle in certain areas. So you might want to just make sure that you're doing things properly and avoid risking burning muscle instead of fat.
