Sometimes it might feel when you're losing weight that you're the only one going through your struggles, but that's not the case. If you feel like you can't relate to anyone who is close to you because they're not facing the same trials and tribulations as you are with your weight, join a group online or a local one and find some new friends who you can relate to. These individuals who understand exactly what you are going through will help you to stay motivated and will provide you with guidance that you know you can count on. You're not alone so don't be afraid to find the help and support you need. It is out there. You just have to look for it :)

That's a good point Maggie. There are lot of ways to find the support that you need. However, I know from personal experience that this can be very hard if you suffer from social anxiety or even if you just don't know where to look. Forums like this one are helpful. I'd recommend that people start online first and then work their way up from there.
