    It’s really important for you to get motivation from the people around you who support you, but when it all comes down to it, it’s up to you to be positive and driven. Get the attitude of a cheerleader and cheer yourself on! Be there for yourself, and when you’re losing your drive, boost yourself back up.

    That is a very good attitude. It’s important to get a good balance where you get support from others but you support yourself, too.

          Part of the process of losing weight effectively is to find where your motivation truly lies and then get the most out of that. It is important not to let yourself down in that area.

            Definitely awesome advice. You really do have to be your own cheerleader. if you aren't on your side you're only going to work against yourself. You can't rely on the motivation of others alone. You need to believe you are worth it and you need to want to achieve your goals because you want to. Weight loss is all about you - no one else. It's about looking good and feeling good for you - and only you! If you are basing all of your weight loss decisions on what you think something else wants or will make someone else happy, you are doomed to fail and you'll never, ever be happy with yourself. So, break out those pompoms and put yourself first!
