The best motivation for me is to simply not give myself a choice. So when I want to eat my favorite meals, I need to go for a walk, for example.
I keep a lot of dry and frozen products in the house, but I never keep the fresh ingredients for my favorite meals. That means that I have to go to the grocery store to get them. I force myself to walk to the grocery store since it’s only a 10 minute walk away. So if I walk there, walk around the store, and walk back, then I get 20-30 minutes of walking exercise (20 minutes of which is brisk).
I especially like the fact that there is a gym in the same plazas my supermarket. I love that the people in the window are struggling away on their machines while I’m getting free, fresh air just by walking to the store.
