    I think that one of the best things that I have learned about the holiday season is that it is a good idea to let yourself have a little bit of all of the treats you usually like in the holiday season. Don’t try to stop yourself from having anything or you’ll just end up giving up and then eating way too much. Instead, promise yourself to enjoy everything you love during the holidays. Just also promise yourself to be strict about portion control. You’ll have a taste of everything and won’t feel like you missed anything and while you probably won’t lose weight, you likely won’t gain, either. You’ll do better than most people you know!

    That's a great idea. As long as you get that taste of what you like, you won't feel like you're holding back from enjoying the holidays quite as much.

      I think that I slipped up too much. No matter how good my intentions are at the start of the holiday season, I never just stick to a few bites of things. I always end up eating way too much fo things and then I gain a lot of the weight I've lost in the months prior. I know that I've done that again this year.
