  • Ignore Negative People

    Just as important as having inspirational words to drive you forward is to ignore negative people who don’t believe in dieting, who would comment about your weight, or who think that anything that you’re doing is stupid. This is your body and your health. Only you can decide what is right.

    That's good advice. It's funny how people want us to lose weight but give us such a hard time when we try to stick to a diet!

      Never let someone else take control over whether or not you feel good about yourself no matter what you happen to be doing. You are the only one who decides what your goals should be and how you should achieve them.

            That's really true. I probably give myself a harder time than anyone around me does. It's a good lesson in life and in reaching goals like weight loss.

            I find that whenever I catch myself thinking something negative about myself I force myself to say something positive and then DO something positive to reinforce it.

              Trust me there have been many negative people in my life and yes you just have to ignore them so you can hurdle past what you are trying to do.

                  A lot of negative people don't even knwo that they're negative and that they're dragging other people down.

                  My father is one of the angriest men I've ever met and he thinks that he's upbeat. he genuinely thinks that. He yelled at a kleenex box last weekend. I'm not making that up.

                        Every time you hear someone negative say something that is meant to discourage you, tell yourself something positive instead. Don't let them get in your way!

                          Remember to ignore yourself most of all when you are saying negative things like you don't want to keep eating healthy or you don't feel like exercising. Tell yourslef off like you'd tell someone else!
