  • Every day is a new day

No matter what happens today, remember that tomorrow is a new day. Therefore if you make a mistake today or if you break from your habits, try not to give yourself too much of a hard time about it. Tomorrow is a new day for you to start fresh again. Always try to look on the bright side!

That's a good attitude. I have to admit, when I first read this it reminded me of Anne of Green Gables, how each day is a new day with no mistakes in it haha. No idea why, but ever since I read that when I was a little girl, it's stuck with me :)

Hahaha! I totally thought of Anne of Green Gables, too, and yeah I agree with that attitude as well. The only thing I'd add is that if it's turning out that you keep making the same mistakes every day, it might be time to rethink your weight loss methods because it might not just be you failing, it could be that what you're doing just doesn't make sense to your lifestyle.

I agree that you need to think of tomorrow as a new day, but at the same time, you can't fall into the habit of thinking that it's okay to make mistakes today because there is always tomorrow. If you keep making mistakes, it doesn't matter about tomorrow because you're just making your problems worse. Yes, it's important to try again when you fail, but if you keep failing, you need to seriously start to ask why that is.

This is very true. Honestly if you just keep thinking tomorrow is going to be when you make a difference, you're not exactly living. i just mean that if you are trying hard, and one day you mess up, it's not the end of the world.

I do like thinking that everyday is a new day. It does make you feel better when you mess up...that said, I do have to agree with everyone else who said that you can't let this be an excuse for you to mess up because you have tomorrow to lean on.
