  • What about taking video instead of pictures?

    Sometimes I find that pictures are not very accurate when it comes to showing me how much weight I've lost and depending on the lighting and the angle, it can be really hard to take an accurate shot, especially if you're taking pictures by yourself. I started taking short videos of myself instead and so far I like it better. I slowly turn around in the video and get to see a clearer picture of what I'm looking at. Just thought I'd share in case anyone else might want to give that a try ;

    I honestly think that would be worse than taking a photo. I mean, I get what you're saying, but if I can barely stand looking at myself in a still photograph I'll have an even harder time watching me in a video

      I think I might actually try this. I know what you're getting at Freddy. It may be a lot easier to see how much weight I've lost when I can see myself in motion and from different angles. I really have a hard time gauging how much weight I've lost though photos. Depending on the angle I can look fatter two months later after I've started tracking my progress even though I know I've dropped some pounds.

        I tried this method and found it was worse than doing before and afters. I would recommend that people just stick to pictures. it's faster, easier, and more accurate.
