There are certain angles that are more flattering than others so you might want to learn about your best angles and stick to them if you can. Then, once you find them then try to always recreate them so that you will always look your best in pictures. YOu’ll love yourself a lot more that way.

that's good advice if you want to take a great photo, but for before and after photos it may be better if you just focused on taking the most honest photo possible. Taking photos by positioning your body in a certain angle is not a great way to track your weight loss progress. It could make you think you have lost weight or that you have more weight than you actually do on a certain area of your body. So, while I do think it's great to find out what angles you like best for regular photography, when it comes to B&A photos, it's probably best to take a photo straight on.
