I’ve been thinking about something lately. Even as I lose weight, whenever I see pictures of myself, all I can see is the places where I still need to burn away more fat. Also, when I think about how I look without having a mirror or a photograph around, I think of myself as looking much heavier than how I really am.
I think that as much as it is important to track your weight by weighing yourself once per week, and photograph yourself once per week to be able to actually see the results you’re getting, it’s also important to correct mental image of yourself so that you can start to get a real idea of how you look. Force yourself to realize how great you’re doing and don’t just think of yourself as too big.
