Does anyone know if there are realistic before and after weight loss pictures I can look at . I want to provide myself with a realistic of what my body might look like once i start to lose weight. I know i can take my own pictures, and I probably will, it's just I want to use the pictures of others as inspiration. I don't trust a lot of what i see online because to me it looks like either photoshop is being used of they are actually using two different people. I'm not dumb, I know that if you lose 100 pounds off your body, you don't suddenly look like a magazine model. There would be flab and other stuff that would be hanging around. So, does anyone know where I might find some realistic photos? Thanks.

I agree with Chefmel. It's really hard to find those. You just can't trust what you see online...and those who take real B&As aren't really interested in sharing them because as motivational as they might be, they aren't pretty for the most part. Saggy skin is part of the process. I would recommend that you just try to stay committed to taking your own every month and over time you'll see the realistic B&As you're after. Just try not to get discouraged if after 1 month of photos you don't notice much of a difference. There's usually a notable change in 6 months...not typically 2 months in.

Ugh! This is what I was afraid of. I just wish there was a community where we could all share our honest B&A's. I really, really find other people's journeys motivating to help me to do the same.
Aside from taking B&A's are there any other ways to track your weight in a visual way that allows you to see the difference if you're not big on the idea of taking pictures of yourself?

You could always try measuring the circumference of your waist every month and keeping track of how much you've lost from your middle. You can also try wearing a pair of pants that is one size smaller than your size now. Try these pants on each month to see if they fit any better. You could also just weigh yourself every couple of weeks or every month and keep track of what the scale tells you. Maybe you'll be happier with visual numbers than you with a visual of your self. :)
