Should I add quinoa to my diet? How healthy is it and is it easy to cook and does it taste good? Is it good for weight loss too? is it high in calories? I want to try new things that are healthy, cheap and easy. If Quinoa isn't it, does anyone have any other suggestions?

The amount of Quinoa you would eat in one sitting wouldn't be too high in calories. What can make it high in calories is how you prepare it (for instance if you use oil as oils are high in calories) or what you mix in with it or eat along side it.
It's definitely a really health food that you should consider adding to your diet and it's a great protein. I add it to my cereal in the morning and I often add it to veggies stir fries. Those are my two favorite ways of enjoying it :)

Quinoa is an excellent food to add to your diet. It is low in calories and you can cook it in many ways as others have suggested here. I personally add it to fruit smoothies and cereal. I've also recently discovered that I like it with kale and sweet potato. Definitely experiment with quinoa. Just make sure you cook it fully!

And that's to everyone else who responded. I think I"m going to give Quinoa a try. Even if I don't like the taste of it, I think it's healthy enough even if I have to sacrifice taste buds haha.
