    Hi everyone. I'm wondering if anyone can give me suggestions on how I could make healthy meals or snacks fast. I really hate cooking and I'm less likely to cook for myself when things take a long time to make. I'm really trying to cut down on the amount of pre-packaged junk I eat. I'd love any suggestions you can provide :)

    I found the easiest way to make "fast food" is to cook a bunch of meals on Sunday for the week and then freeze them. This helps me to control the portions I eat plus I also make healthier meals and snacks. For the rest of the week, I just grab and go. All I have to do is nuke my food and it's all done for me.

      Yeah, the best way is to make food in advance and preserve it. Also, fresh fruits and vegetables are always pretty good and fast if you're looking for something quick and healthy to grab. Instead of trying to do everything fast, though, you might want to consider spending more time enjoying what you cook and eat. Then it might not feel like such a chore. There's a difference between being busy and too busy to support a healthy lifestyle.

          Honestly, the fastest snack ever is fruit. Grab a piece of your favorite fruit and eat it. Nothing's faster.

            Thanks. I think I'm going to start trying to make meals in advance and freeze them. That's probably the solution I've been looking for :)
