Is zucchini bread good for you?

I know zucchini is good for you. Does this mean zucchini bread is good for you, too? I recently tried some for the first time and I was blown away at how tasty it was!!

Not really. It's the same as asking if banana bread or carrot cake is good for you. They're just deserts and you should always think of them that way. :)

It's not the worst thin in the world but I have to agree with Beth...it's no different than eating carrot cake a carrot muffin, etc. Just because something has a vegetable in it, this doesn't automatically make it a health food. If you're going to have zucchini bread, just remember that it's a treat.

I have to agree with everyone else. I love that bread but it's just a glorified cake LOL. Enjoy it as a treat without guilt. That said, there are lot of ways you can eat zucchini that's really good for you and your waistline.
