Alright, now that Thanksgiving is out of the way, it's time to start thinking about our next big holiday dinner. What healthy recipes do you guys have cooking up your sleeves? I'm looking to serve some healthy and tasty stuff this year and In need inspiration. I don't just want to have steamed vegetables and turkey. What's fun food and good for you? Even vegan and vegetarian recipes are welcome.

Have you thought of making a Christmas stew instead of doing the whole turkey thing? A stew can be really hearty and you can put anything you want in it and make it as good for you as you want and even vegetarian/veagn, too. How healthy you want to go sort of depends on how traditional you want to be.

A stew is a good idea. Another interesting one is a turkey salad, fresh veggie puree soups, Recipes with quinoa...even a quiche! Essentially, the more you think outside the box the more healthier recipes you'll come across. Don't be afraid to break with tradition, especially if traditional Christmas dinner foods aren't important to the people you're serving it to :)
