Homemade cooking and baking is always more nutritious than buying something from the store or getting takeout because you can control how much salt, sugar, etc. you add. I'm curious to know what everyone's favorite homemade dish is to make. For me it's stew.

I like making broths, including both bone and blood broths. Making soup is something I love to do when the cold weather sets in and knowing I've made them from scratch makes me feel like I'm doing something good for me and something healthy. Plus I get to make them like I want and they taste amazing :D

I like making my own salad dressing, my own cookies and baked goods and my own soups. All are easy and I like that I can control how much of each ingredient I put it. Plus, it tastes way better than anything that comes out of a package or a can! That said, I've never heard of blood brother before either...

I think so. I've never hard of the term "blood broth" either. I know of blood soups and stews, but it all probably means the same thing. They are soups that contain the blood of animals, like duck, goose, pig, etc. It's often blood mixed with a clear broth. They can be quite tasty and are good for you. That said, I've never made one, so I don't know how easy it is to do.

Although it doesn't sound very appetizing, I bet that blood soup probably tastes amazing and is loaded with nutrients...they should just change the name hahahaha
