    What are some easy tasty recipes that don’t have you using packaged products? I’m trying to eat healthier.

    I don't tend to follow recipes. Just take a bunch of colorful vegetables that you consider to be from the same season of the year, cut them up, and sautee them in olive oil together.

      Try to aim for simple meals and whole foods. Don't try to add too much. It helps you stick to the basics. Veggies, fruits, herbs, spices.

        In my mind, chickpea burgers are about as good as it gets. I just mash up chickpeas and add a little bit of peanut butter or almond butter. Then add an herb or spice to give it some zip. I personally like cumin in it at the moment but in the summer I like fresh dill.

          Get an acorn squash, cut it in half and scoop out the seeds and stringy stuff. now you have two "bowls". stuff them both with rice that is only JUST cooked, and a bunch of your favorite fresh veggies. paint the exposed part of the squash (the cut part) with olive oil, then cover it up with foil and bake it until the squash is soft. It takes around 45 minutes or more, depending on your oven and the size of the squash. It's awesome. I just serve it right in the squash bowl.

              Does this work for other kinds of squash? I don't like acorn much
