  • Low Cal source of calcium

Other than dairy, is there a good source of calcium. Something low cal?

That's a bit of a tough one. Calcium and calories usualy go together. I'm going to have to say kale or supplements.

I think that broccoli and spinach have calcium in them. Almonds do, too. They don't have a huge amount. You'd need to eat a huge amount for a full serving. BUt if you're just looking to top yourself off after you've already had dairy, then that should be very helpful.

That's actually a really hard question. I can think of a lot of foods that have calcium in them, but all of the really good sources also seem to have a lot of calories in them, too. The best, I'd say, would be low fat dairy. Skim milk, for example. Beyond that, it's really hard to say.

I think the best thing is to get fat free dairy. Sorry. I know that's not unique, but it really is best I think.

There are a lot of dairy alternatives like soy and almond milk that are fortified with calcium
