I've been thinking about getting most of my nutrients and calories through liquid foods instead of solids. I just honestly find it easier to make smoothies in advance and consume those instead of having to cook. I'm trying to cut down on the amount of pre-pacakged meals I eat and I feel like having more soups and smoothies is the way. Is this stupid?

Probably...but I don't think it's good to be on a diet that's only liquid-based or mostly liquid-based unless it's necessary to your health. The reason is that I'm pretty sure the act of chewing is important for your dental Hygiene and also aids in healthy digestion. The act of chewing sends signals to the brain. I would look more into that if you're seriously considering going mostly liquid.

I have to agree a little bit. I mean I get sometimes you get so tired you don't even feel like eating, but are you sure it's just that you're lazy and it's not something else you might be going through, like a little bit of depression or maybe eating causing you some physical discomfort? Maybe it's that you don't like the foods your eating. Have you thought of preparing things in a different way? Don't get me wrong, I'm all for smoothies in the morning and I even get wanting to maybe smoothie or shake it up at lunch, but I think it's a good idea to eat at least one meal a day.
