    What nutrition is key for promoting the best and fastest weight loss? I know that by taking a bunch of supplements isn't going to magically melt fat off my body, but if I want to give my body the best chance to lose weight, so what nutrients should I be making sure I'm fueled up on?

    Whole grains, fruits and vegetables, drink lots of water, get proper rest and honestly just reduce the amount of calories you eat and exercise. It's more about the whole package than simply making sure you eat a few good foods.

      Oh I know that. I was simply wondering if there are any specific nutrients, vitamins or minerals that can really help. You know like vitamin A, B, calcium, etc. I know that all of them are good for your overall health, I was curious if there are any that are specifically good for losing or managing weight.

        I think they can all help you. Focus on eating whole foods (fresh fruits and vegetables and whole grains) and making sure you get adequate protein and fiber. This will keep you healthy, more satisfied and make it easier to help you shed weight through whatever efforts you might be using to take off the extra pounds.

          I agree. Don't just focus on one or two really healthy-for-you-foods. Work on the whole balance.
