Do you think it is more likely to lose weight and keep it off if you follow one diet or several?
For instance, if you started with a detox or elimination diet first and then once that was over you worked on following a more long-term diet like the Mediterranean diet or the Step diet or one of those that enforces regular portion control and exercise do you think it would be easier to lose weight?
I'm wondering if it might. While I'm not a fan of detoxes and I don't believe in them as a long-term solution for weight loss, if you were to restrict your calories for a brief period, it may be easier to transition to a diet that requires you to eat lower portions since you'd be more willing to follow it after detoxing?
What do you guys think?
