Does our metabolism continue to slow throughout our lives or does it finally just stay the same? What I mean is I know that when you're young you burn through calories quicker but as you age (like once you hit over 30) your metabolism starts to slow down. Does this decline continually happen for the rest of your life or does it edge off? Does anyone know?

I think it does level off. I don't think it keeps declining throughout your life. I think it does eventually stop but I have no idea when that is. By the age of 25 it starts to decline and continues from there. That's why it's really important that you keep up with your physical activity.

Yeah, unfortunately metabolism keeps slowing down as you age. So if you want to keep the fat off and keep trim, you really do need to start watching what you eat and making sure you exercise. Oh, some days how I wish I were still in my twenties hahaha.
