  • What's a good weight loss app

Hi everyone. I bought an iPhone (my first one) and I was wondering if there were any good weight loss apps for it that would be useful. I'm interested in free apps if possible. Thanks!

The two that I really like are BMI calculator and Diet Assistant. The calculator is exactly what you think it is but the Diet Assistant is a useful tool because it helps you to watch what you eat and helps you to find foods that suit your taste and it’s what I use for creating my shopping lists. Both are free!

I really like Lose It! by FitNow and Calorie Counter & Diet Tracker by MyFitnessPal. Both help you to keep track of your diet and count your calories. As an extra bonus, they're both free! I definitely recommend trying them out :D

I recommend just heading tot the App store and doing a generic search for what you're looking for. Usually the highest rated apps are the best ones. Read reviews other people have left to see if it's worth downloading...but remember that the beauty of a free app is it's free! Which means you can download as many as you want and try them out until you find the right one that works for you with no cost. Don't be afraid to experiment!

I agree with Lia. Head to the App store and do a search. Since this is your first iPhone it's a good idea to spend some time browsing in the app store so you get a feel for how everything works. Read the reviews of customers who have tried the weight loss free apps that look interesting and then give them a try. Since you're looking for free there really is nothing to lose. If you don't like an app, just delete it - no harm done and nothing lost. That said, don't forget that when you choose free there will be some type of advertisement included (which can be annoying depending on the app) but app developers have to make money some how.

Also (since apparently I'm on a rant LOL) make sure you leave reviews of the apps you try. It will help others who are in the same boat as you! Happy hunting :)
