Who do you guys think is someone (celebrity or not) who is a great weight loss motivator who helped you to trip down and reach your weight loss goals? I'm asking because I typically do well at something when I can model my goals after someone else's and I can be motivated by their success. Of course, I'm looking for people who are real role models...not yo-yo dieters or those who promote stupid diets like cleanses or air diets.

Hmm....that's a really good question. To be honest, I don't really think there is any celebrity or professional that makes a good role model for weight loss. The reason isn't because they aren't successful with their weight loss goals or that their success doesn't matter, it's because their lifestyle and the benefits they have access to are not the same as the average person - us. They have personal trainers and other people to help them stay on track and live a certain way (which they have to if they want to maintain their own careers, public image, etc.)
I look to "everyday" women for motivation and support. I feel like I can relate to their struggles better and I feel that I can actually achieve something when someone else who I think is similar to me finds the type of success I want. I recently read this article and found it interesting. It's about how women stay motivated to lose weight. https://www.womenshealthmag.com/weig...ss-motivation/ I put it here in case it interests you!

That's actually a really great site Jenny25! THanks for sharing that link. It was nice to see what helped to motivate those women. :) And I have to agree with you that using a celebrity or trainer as a role model isn't great unless you can actually afford to live their lifestyle. It's simply too hard to work their diets and their exercise regimen into the average lifestyle. Most of them eat and workout the way they do for their job. The rest of us have other jobs and responsibilities on top of trying to eat well and exercise. You need to be sensible.

I don't but, if you do a search for weight loss or weight loss tracking, you'll probably get a list of the most popular. I would just take your time to browse through them and see which one you like. It's sometimes hard to recommend youtubers because what might not annoy one person may drive the other one crazy haha

I honestly think it's anyone who inspires you. This could be anyone from a youtuber to a celebrity to your aunt. Honestly, you don't even necessarily need to follow what they do. Just knowing that this person who you admire is also struggling and trying like you are can be enough motivation to keep going.
