      that is too true athlete15. no matter what you do to lose weight, if it does not include permanent changes to the way you live your life then you are almost guaranteed to gain weight again. learning how to manage your weight after you lose is just as important as weight loss itself.

        If you are referring to diet programs, it must be sustainable and must help you maintain your ideal weight long term. most diet programs i know include proper exercise and good nutrition since these two are the most basic in terms of dieting. If you refer to cleansing on the other hand, it's true that it basically aims to get rid of all the toxins that have accumulated in your body. it is often short term because cleansing would mean depriving you the appropriate daily nutrition your body needs. I know some like: using laxatives or pure water for a couple of days. However, you need a good diet program to sustain this new healthy lifestyle. If you do the cleansing alone, im afraid it will do no good to your body long term. Goodluck to everyone!

          Thanks for the link, I find it very helpful. Anyway, I would only like to share how aerobics works wonders in our weight, I have only tried the exercise a couple of weeks ago and already, i lost 10 pounds. I accompanied aerobics with proper diet and phentramin d. I heard about phentramin d a couple of months back in this weight loss forum and Im so happy for the result. Not only do I feel full longer it helps me avoid greasy food too. I don't know if people using the product has the same testimony as I but I find greasy foods unappetizing like before. I highly recommend the product and you can buy diet pills online now, how convenient is that?

                I have to agree with you with this. It is pretty useless to starve yourself for 6 months in order to lose the desired weight you want. It is a healthier option to eat healthily at a steady rate for the rest of your lives.

                  I have visited the link and found interesting diet program and will definitely help people seeking for some healthy intake but i have my own diet chart which help me to get complete nutrition for all day....

                  My diet program is....

                  Early morning:

                  Juice of half a lemon mixed in a glass of warm water and a teaspoon of honey.

                  Breakfast:

                  Carbohydrates, whole wheat bread, roti (chapati), whole grain cereal.

                  A cup of skimmed milk.

                  Lunch:

                  Salad of raw vegetables such as carrot, cucumber, cabbage, tomatoes, fruits and boiled vegetables as starter.

                  Wheat chapatis/rice.

                  Whole grain vegetables like kidney beans, dal, peas, lightly cooked vegetables, green coriander leaves.

                  Skim yogurt.

                  Mid afternoon:

                  A glass of carrot, orange, pineapple/ mix juice or tea/ milk made with ayurvedic. preparation to cure any ailment.

                  Some fruits.

                  Dinner:

                  A vegetable soup as starter.

                  Wheat chapatis/rice.

                  Whole grain vegetables and lightly cooked green vegetables.

                  Fruit salad, cabbage, carrot.

                  Skimmed yogurt, if needed.

                  Light dessert of your choice with minimum sugar.

                    I honestly think that any fitness program can work wonders for anyone who is dedicated to adhering to it. Personally, I couldn't have gotten in shape without some form of accountability-- it's just too easy to find an excuse to skip the gym or grab fast food on the way home from work. Recently, I've started using the BodyMedia FIT calorie counter to track my food intake and work out progress each day. It has sophisticated sensors which track not only my activity level, but the intensity of this activity and exactly how many calories I burned during my exercise so I know exactly what my calorie deficit is. This helps me visualize my progress so I can stay on track. Anyway, you might wanna check it out and either way-- best of luck to everyone!

                        I think you have to drink a lot of strong green tea for it to take effect (with no sugar added) and you need to take green tea capsules that are meant for weight loss, not just ones meant to be antioxidants. I hope that helps

                          is it only green tea that works like that? Isn't all tea (not herbals, but actual tea from a tea plant) from the same plant, it's just the different ways that it's treated? Is there a big difference between drinking green tea and orange pekoe for weight loss?

                            I think the way that the plant is treated makes different results in the way that it helps with weight loss. Just like it makes the taste different it makes the weight loss benefits different, too.

                              I'm not sure I understand what it means when it says to mix with an ayurvedic preparation. Why would I need to do that?
