    I’m trying to get into some of the more new age sort of stuff to help with weight loss and overall health. One of the things I’ve run into is aromatherapy. So far, it has been very effective for me for decreasing anxiety and stress and boosting my alertness. Does anyone know if it works to help weight loss and, if so, which essential oils are the best?

    Digital camera

    One of the best things I've done for myself is to get a digital camera and then use it's timer function to be able to monitor my progress. It's one thing to write down the numbers when I weigh myself every week, but it's something else when I take a picture when I do my last weighing for the month.

    I always put on the exact same outfit each time, so it really shows the difference. It's amazing the difference that shows! Even in a month where I lose 4 or 5 pounds, it's visible. I don't notice it in "real life" since it's gradual, but I find that the impact is far more motivational than just seeing the number of pounds I've lost.

      That's a very good idea! It'd also be fun to see how big those original clothes get on you over time, and to post your pics on your social network account so that everyone can see that you're doing great! I wish I'd thought of that from the start. I might begin now, though
