I mean sites like Havard medical. They publish a lot of health things. Is the weight loss info published there considered a good resource or should I stick to places like mayo clinic and Cleveland clinic?

Definitely. They're trustworthy. I like the advice they give and seeing the research they post. Just be sure to pay attention to the difference between the two. Some is information you can use as guidance. Some is research that represents investigations they've conducted but don't necessarily mean that you should alter anything you're doing to comply with it. Some is accepted as a medical recommendation, some is just reporting on findings that need to be repeated or expanded on.
