Is mineral or carbonated water good or bad for weight loss? Obviously it can make you bloaty and gassy, and it's not the best idea for people who suffer from digestive issues like IBS or who are prone to heart burn, but beyond that, is it really bad for your health or will it lead to more weight gain?

I think it depends on the person, but for the most part if all you're doing is drinking bubbly water (no additives, sugars, sodium, etc.) or mineral water, I don't think it's bad for you at all. It's probably never just as good as drinking good old fashioned water (I mean is anything better than plain water?) but as long as you don't feel all bloaty, I think it can actually help make you feel fuller.

They really just make you bloated. So if you don't want to have a puffy belly...maybe avoid them.
