  • how to build up fitness with low cal diet

Hey all! I’m reaching out for a little bit of help from your opinions and experience.

I’m trying to lose weight the healthy way by reducing my calories to a healthy range and by boosting up my exercise level every day. The problem is that with less calories, my energy levels are through the floor. I get tired with everything that I do. What can I do to overcome this? I can’t seem to get more fit when I just want to sleep when I sit down on the exercise bike!

That is a challenge! I went through the same thing and asked a friend of mine who works at a gym. What he told me was that you need to pay attention to the types of foods that you are eating. For example, know when you are eating your carbs, proteins, fats, ect. Know how foods affect you and which ones give you a great amount of energy. That will allow you to eat the ones that give you the most energy at the beginning of the day or before a workout, and the ones that slow you down a bit can be eaten later at night since you'll be headed to bed in a few hours anyway.

It is a matter of balance and knowing how different foods impact your energy levels. It really does work, though.

The trick is to eat high energy foods and build up your fitness slowly. It doesn't happen overnight, but stick to it!

Just try to get through the first little while with sheer determination. YOur body will adjust to the new energy level on its own and you won't struggle as much very soon. Just don't cut your calories too far or that will be an issue for you throughout the whole diet.
