I think that one of the best ways to lower cholesterol is by losing weight and eating a low cholesterol diet, but keep in mind that it is a very slow process. It isn't like blood sugar levels that can go up and down very quickly.
Cholesterol can take a very long time, so even if you find that you aren't getting results right away, keep up with your medication and keep up with your weight loss and eating efforts that will help you to get your levels down.
It's a challenge, but it's very good for you and it feels great. I have been doing it for just over a year now and I've reached the point that I can lower my Crestor dose.
