    My mom's part Filipino, so she serves rice during meals. I quit that diet when I moved out, and I noticed that was when the fat also came pouring. I'm back on having rice with my main meals again, and see if it really was the rice that help me. Doing some research on it as well.

        noemi v, I experienced the same thing. that is so strange. i thought that eating rice would be too many carbs and cause me to gain weight, but as it happens your body needs some carbs to burn fat.         The only other thing I can think of is that when you moved out you started to eat differently. Perhaps your mother's cooking was better for you than you thought :). Are you still losing weight now that you're eating rice again?

                Foods that help Weight Loss

                I think the best foods that help in weight loss are fresh fruits, green vegetables, salads and anything that doesn’t have a lot of carbs. It's not easy to prepare diet food at home so I've been using Bistro MD diet food and I think I've lost good weight in the last 2 months. I think the best thing about Bistro MD is that it is really low on calories and yet tastes really good.

                        hello! there are plenty of foods that can help you lose weight. However, the problem is people do not always like to eat them. You find food in the restaurants, fast foods, or even in the streets and you notice how unhealthy they are. Some people opt for a healthier diet. Meals with eggs, Kale, Oatmeal ,Lentils, Goji berries, Wild salmon or lean meat, Apples or any other fruits, Buckwheat pasta or any food that is high in fiber, Blueberries,Almond butter, Pomegranates, Chiles, etc.

                        In addition, you have to eat a regular meal at a regular interval. That way, your metabolism will be cranked up sustainably. These foods are everywhere, you only need to know how to deliciously prepare it to enjoy the meal. Remember that even healthy foods that most people believe as bland can be delicious too! try it!

                            There are plenty of nutritious foods in the market that can help you in losing weight. You can even plant them in your own backyard to save money. Here is a list of some Power Foods readily available in your local supermarket
