  • How built do women really like men?

Alright Ladies, I’m looking for the truth!

I know that as a whole (I’m generalizing, here) women like men who are fit, but how built do you really like your men? I’m working on both losing fat and gaining lean muscle mass but how much is enough? Do you like a look of overall fitness, or do you actually like that ripped, thick muscled, popping vein body builder look?

I’m trying to decide what program I want to join and part of that decision is plain old vanity. So tell me: what do you want?

I can't speak for all women, but I like the look of a man who is fit and healthy, but not "lumpy" to the point that he has big bulging muscles with the veins popping out. In fact, that doesn't even look natural or healthy to me. It just makes me think of someone who is pumped full of steroids and who will likely have a lot of health issues as a result of it, as well as anger management problems. I really don't think a man needs to be hugely built in order to meet my ideal for being attractive. If you enjoy working out at the gym and body building, that's great, and you'll probably look and feel great, too. The trick is (like with anything else in life) not to overdo it.

I don't like men who don't look natural. i.e. too much muscle looks forced. And if a guy is that into himself, then it worries me that he will be very critical of me. To be honest, I would rather be with a man that has a little more meat on his bones then him being to skinny. I am not attracted to real thin guys.

I agree! As judgmental as it sounds, I'd hesitate to go out with a guy who was exceptionally into himself and his body building because it would make me feel as though he felt that I was ugly.

I think men think of muscles and washboard abs in the same way that women think of small waists and thighs and big chests. It's what we think that people expect us to have if we want to look good. I can't say that I'd want to look like one of the men in the bodybuilding competitions, but I certainly get the feeling that women would find me more attractive if I was more built just as women would probably feel the same way about the way men see them if they looked more like a barbiedoll
