  • hitting a wall with exercise and diet

    I've been working on my exercise and diet and trying to be reasonable about it. When i plateau enough, I cut down calories a bit more or boost up my workouts a bit more, depending on what seems appropriate for me at the time. The thing is, every time i do it, I feel like i hit a wall where I feel like crap. I feel sore, sick and just overall bad for a day or wo before things pick up again. Why does that happen?

    Maybe you're not being gradual enough? It could be that you're suddenly making too sharp of a change all at once. Are you keeping up your hydration? That could also play a role. I hope you don't go through this much more. Sounds awful.

      What about rest days? when you're stepping things up, maybe you're not resting enough or you're making the step up too big all at once. Gradual increases might help you better.
