  • Rosie O'Donnell weight loss - AMAZING

Good for Rosie O’Donnell. She’s lost a tremendous amount of weight, 50 pounds, I think! She had bariatric surgery and nine months later she looks like a new person. I’ve never actually seen her look as small as she is. She looks so much healthier, which is great. I imagine having that heart attack was enough to scare her into a healthier lifestyle. Now let’s all learn from that and not wait until we have something bad happen to our health that forces us to change.

She looks incredible! She still has about 30 to 40 pounds to lose but she's come a long way since she was 220 pounds and had that heart attack. She's a great example for the rest of us, you're right.

I hadn't really been paying attention to entertainment news over the last little while so I hadn't seen anything about Rosie O'donnel but I'm glad that it was pointed out in this forum. I looked it up and wow, what a difference.

It's a shame that she needed to go through the surgery to get to this point, but it's great that she's doing something about her weight to get herself healthy again.

I know that I needed to be frightened into losing weight. It's a shame that we think that we're invinceable and don't do anything about weight until something bad happens, in a lot of cases.

I think that this situation is good and bad in terms of Rosie O'Donnell's weight loss.

I think that it is wonderful that she has lost the weight. It's very good for her health. I think that it's even better that she did this in response to the health problems that she was having because it helps to promote the fact that weight loss isn't just for looks. It's actually an urgent health matter.

It's unfortunate that it had to be through surgery. I'm glad that Rosie did what she had to do to get the weight down and make herself healthier. It's just a shame that it didn't happen to occur through a technique that everyone can afford. It really promoted the fact that losing weight is very hard and that some people find it outright impossible. I don't think it's her responsibility to represent the importance of weight loss or anything, I'm just saying that in a more perfect world, she'd have been able to use diet and exercise alone.

At least it looks as though she is trying to do somethign good for her health and she is trying to diet in the way that is appropriate for her. She woudl have to be assisted by a doctor for htis, too. It's not like Matthew McConehey and other actors who go to extreme measures to lose weight just for a role!
