  • Can you reverse aging skin

I know that you can't necessarily make your skin look younger or anything with getting plastic surgery, etc. However, are there things that you can do to preserve your skin and minimize aging through your diet or other efforts?

uh no I don't think you can reverse it...at least not in a natural way. I'm sure plastic surgery could help stretch it out, etc. I think if you have skin damage, all you can really do is slow the process of it getting worse or prevent it from getting worse. I think some of the best ways to do that is to stay out of the sun and moisturize...at least, that's what my wife tells me.

I wish! No, you can't. You can only protect the skin you currently have. Any of the marks, wrinkles, cellulite, etc. are there to stay. You can always improve the look of your skin by keeping it moisturized, protecting it from the sun, drinking lots of water and eating good-for-you-foods that help to hydrate your skin, such as omega 3 oils and things like that.

I wish you could reverse aging skin! Honestly, just stay out of the sun (protect yourself from it when you do need to be in it), drink lots of water, get sleep, moisturize. Eat oils that are good for your skin as well as fruits and vegetables. Essentially, it's all about moisture, both inside and out!

Thanks...so essentially I should just accept that whatever my skin looks now all I can do is keep it like that and prevent it from getting worse....there's no real way to reverse it, except I guess plastic surgery LOL.

Hahaha! Yup! It's pretty much plastic surgery or nothing. That said you should find that if you drink sufficient water, cut out eating a lot of junk, alcohol don't smoke, stay out of the sun, moisturize and get regular sleep, you should notice a positive difference in your skin, even if it's damaged. I'm not saying it'll looking amazingly different, but it should definitely be healthier. Think about looking at your hand when it's super dried out compared to when its moisturized, the skin looks different, that's what I'm trying to get at :)
