Nose job!

Hello,
I want a nose job, but was wondering if anyone has gotten one on here or know someone that has? Were you happy with the outcome? Any advice welcome.

Hi Louise Brown,

I should start by telling you that I'm not really a fan of nose jobs, so I just wanted to let you know that I am biased from the start, but you've asked for opinions and I do hope that mine helps.

The reason that I'm not a fan of the process is because I honestly don't feel that they've perfected it yet. You can tell when someone has had a nose job and it doesn't look that attractive to me. Just as many people have the plastic surgery because they feel their noses are too big or lumpy, they turn them into noses that are too small and pinched. They look odd in the opposite extreme of what they previously had.

I don't have a great nose, but it's just not that big of a deal. I just wear makeup to draw attention to my eyes and mouth and try to choose great jewelry like earrings and a necklace.

Concentrate on becoming healthier and more fit and your nose will seem insignificant!

You're really right about that. Noses that have had plastic surgery look like noses that have been altered. They never look natural. And I find that people go slightly overboard when they choose their new "design". They may want the same nose as their favorite actress or want a much smaller nose than they have on their face, but it doesn't mean that they will look good in it. Just like not everyone can get away with dying their hair black, not everyone's face looks nice with a tiny little nose! Instead, try getting a hair style, makeup style, and jewelry style that will help to balance your face. You'll look far better in your natural nose than you will in a fake one - and at least everyone will know that it's real!
