  • Hi! Trying to stay on track.

I'm glad to join you all!

Let me tell you who I am: I'm a young girl sitting in front of computer daily to earn money for living. My job mostly is researching different topics, writing artices and I have been going through a lot of information and preparing articles about weight loss.

I'm keen on healthy living, but obviously - not very successfull in it.

I'm actually no very much overweight, but trying to deal with my own bad habits to stay fit. Oh, yes, working with information about this all is not a key to success yet, although it has given me knowledge to help me to succeed.

Some years ago I was overweight pretty much, but I started to work with my self. Well... Let me be honest... I'm working with myself periodically, not all the time which I guess is my biggest mistake. It's just very easy to find excuses to run to the shop for chocolate in evening in place of 15 minutes of exercising.

So, the main reason, why I'm here is: the summer is coming and I'll want to look good on beach. I hope I'll find here some inspiring information! I just want to stay on the track!

Whether you're doing it to look great on the beach or you want to make sure that you're starting as soon as possible to live a longer and healthier life, it's good that you're looking to make some positive changes for your diet and exercise. You'll find a lot of information and inspiration here. It's a good group. Don't forget, though, that no diet that is going to work will cut out all of your favorite treats forever. The trick is to make them a treat, not a habit, and only have a reasonable amount of them.

Welcome to our group. I hope you have a lot of success here and that you can help the rest of us with ours, too.

I really have just some lbs more than I wish I had - it has been a long winter sitting in front of computer - of course, I have been exercising a little too less and my eating habits - oh, my eating habits are not the best ones. That's actually not such a big problem for me, but the main problem is to stay on track and change my habits in a long term. I know how to lose weight and how to exercise to stay fit, I know how to eat healthy, but I'm able to stay on track for no longer than 2 months - so I hope I'll find here some motivation in those periods when I'm too lazy for working with myself and too lazy for self-discipline.

I can totally empathize with you. Below is my families journey. I hope this will help as encouragement, motivation and hope. You are not alone and can do this. Life begins at the end of your comfort zone.

My wife and I have struggled with our weight for a long time. We have tried everything and were able to lose a little but eventually gained it back plus more. The typical YoYo. A great friend introduced us to this amazing program and changed our lives forever. My wife started in September and has lost 90 pounds. I joined in January and have lost 106 pounds.

We have 2 amazing young boys and are motivation or "why" was being better parents and teach them the habits of health instead of the habits of disease. My youngest said to me, "daddy, I have a tummy like you" and that was it. I realized I was not doing my job as a parent and it all changed for me. We are now active happy people. Our life is so different and it is all because we finally realized WHY we wanted to get healthy. Once you find that WHY, nothing else matters. If that why is strong enough, BURNING STRONG, nothing can stand in your way.

We are so happy that we are now paying it forward and trying to motivate, inspire and help others. I hope this message helps a little.
All the best on your journey!

          JK

That's a great story! Thanks for sharing it. You and your wife have come a long way and have done a great thing for your health and bodies. It's inspiring to hear that people have done it, have been successful, have had challenges, but have overcome them, and that they are as positive as you are now that you've done it.
