    Hi all,
    I've just joined. My name's Lavender, 21.
    As you say, I'm on my weight loss journey. My target for now (mini-goal) is to be down to 20lbs this time next year. I've tried ways, from diet to sport, had some goods results, and now I'm here

    Hi Lavender. Losing 20 lbs in a year is a great goal! Very realistic. You mentioned you have tried diets - which ones? Was there one that worked well for you?

      Hi Britt.

      I follow my own diet - I just try to eat healthy foods that are low in calories. I try to stay away from most carby foods and I watch portion size closely.

      As for exercise, I walk when I can. I make sure to walk further all the time and go up and down some hills so that I am huffing and puffing. I hope to start swimming soon and maybe some light jogging.

      There's lots of people trying different kinds of diets in this forum, but also lots who are just trying to eat sensibly and get regular exercise. I hope you find the information and support you need here. Feel free to ask me anything - I will try my best to answer, but if I don't know I'm sure someone else in this forum will.
