    Hi! I guess everybody is introducing themselves in this section so im making a new thread for me.

    I actually weigh 240 pounds and I want to start my diet starting today. If you have any suggestions on diet meal, weight loss program, diet pills, exercise or anything that can help me lose weight please let me know.

    I do not want to visit a doctor or a dietitian as I'm low in budget right now. Please help me. thank you.

    Hi Patrick. Well, although I struggle to lose weight all the time I am a firm believer that just a healthy diet and exercise is the way to go if you want to lose weight. I know a bunch of celebs lately, like Drew Carey, have lost a good amount of weight by just eating better and getting more exercise, so that's what I would recommend.

    As for diet pills, there are a bunch of people in this forum who are taking them. If that is something you are considering I would suggest you ask one of them how they found it.

    One of the best things you can do to keep track of your calories is to sign up with fitday.com. Its free and you can keep a record of how many calories you're eating. Maybe make it a point to only eat 1800 calories a day and see how that goes. I'm not a doctor or dietician, but that's where I would start.

      hello patrick! I have joined this forum a couple of months back and it helped me tremendously, I hope we are helping you in our own small ways too. I am currently taking phentramin d as it is the only diet pill that my body takes positively. I suggest that you try to browse through the different threads in this weight loss forum. I agree that exercise and proper nutrition alone can help you lose weight but if you want to do it fast while still maintaining a healthy lifestyle, I suggest that you try to find a regimen that will best suit you. I am a busy person thus, I cannot hit the gym all week that is why I opt to accompany exercise and diet with diet pills. How are you doing today? I hope you have found a regimen that will best suit your lifestyle.
