I am a 32 year old single women from California and want to lose weight and keep it off. Any good ideas would be great. Hope to make lots of new friends and help others as well.

Hi, and welcome. Good ideas for weight loss...now there's a broad question. There's a lot of different diet programs and products that can help you lose weight, but probably the best rules of thumb are:
- Eat smaller portions of food at meal times.
- Get more exercise, at least 30 minutes a day.
- Eat a healthy diet and avoid junk foods.
