    Hi everyone. I’m new and my name is Ron. I’ve been on high blood pressure and high cholesterol pills as well as medication for GERD and I’m about 40 pounds overweight from my ideal level.

    I have just started experiencing side effects from I think my cholesterol pills and I was determined to get off all of them by losing weight and getting healthy again. I visited my doctor last night and all he did was prescribe me a new cholesterol pill. I’m not sure what I think about that yet, but I think it might still be a good idea just to lose the weight. Maybe that will mean I need less of the dosages or I won’t need any anymore

    So I’ve never really dieted properly before. I tend to try to do things that will help me lose weight very fast right away and then I give up after a short time. I’m learning from scratch pretty much so I think a forum like this will be really helpful. Thanks everyone.

    Hi Ron,

    Good for you! I've been on a number of this type of medication before, too, so I can give applause with personal experience.

    I started reacting to statin drugs (Lipitor and Crestor) a while back. I am on a very careful diet now, I drink herbal teas, and I take some all natural cholesterol fighters. Hopefully, when I get my weight down, I'll have normal cholesterol levels, too.

      Hi Ron, I am a new diabtic and tried it all, made me feel worse,so i cut down on white bread,sugar and starch and started taking my super-antioxidants. These are a best organic seed oil,berry juice and leafs.Ancient cures. The reason why we are sick is because we are TOXIC and these cleanse our blood and give us nutrients that we lack.         health is the best reason for you to want to lose weight. Looks are important but you can lose your motivation for that pretty quickly when you feel frustrated with your diet. With your health, though, you can always keep pushing forward.
