    I recently came across this piece of news that I found to be very positive! Basically, Researchers from Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis reported that losing only 5% of body weight can really help to improve the health of obese individuals. It can lower the risk of diabetes, improve insulin sensitivity in muscle, liver and fat tissue, as well as lower the risk of heart disease.

    That is quite interesting and it makes a lot of sense. It's good to point out how much of a benefit even a small amount of weight loss can be for your health and it's really not hard to do it. We all aim too high with our weight loss goals which makes it so much easier to give up on them.

      It's good that this was reported. People do need to know that every little bit counts and that starting off small is always great. You can't climb a mountain if you've never tried clearing a molehill first!
