Basically, Researchers from Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis reported that losing only 5% of body weight can really help to improve the health of obese individuals. It can lower the risk of diabetes, improve insulin sensitivity in muscle, liver and fat tissue, as well as lower the risk of heart disease.
