  • Plastic is causing weight loss and obesity

Obviously it's not the only cause, but a washington post article pointed to research showing the impact plastics are having on our weight and on the obesity epidemic. This is worth a read. https://www.washingtonpost.com/busin...bd5_story.html

It's true but it's only one of a zillion contributing factors. Healthy food habits will still help to overcome weight challenges, regardless of plastic or other packaging exposure. It's a matter of finding the right therapies, treatments and other strategies to make healthy food habits work.

I have been switching to glass wherever possible for a long time and am avoiding plastic packaging. I don't know that it's really going to make a difference to my weight loss in any way but it's good to know that it's not "just" for the environment and my overall health but it might help to avoid holding back my weight loss too.
