I just read about this interesting study that examined people on a keto diet and people on a low-fat plant based diet to see which one was more effective for weight loss as well as the effect each diet had on insulin levels. The results were quite interesting and I like that essentially while both diets can be beneficial for weight loss (particularly the low-fat plant based one ? although the keto diet was better for lowering insulin levels), the conclusion was that every diet will work differently for every body, so it?s important when making a lifestyle change for weight loss and you work with your healthcare provider to determine what would be best for you. I really believe in Keto. It's extremely hard, but my best friend (I know it sounds fake when people say it's their friend, but it's true) lost over fifty in three months before her wedding. As soon as she lost ketosis from her honeymoon, she gained a lot of it fast, but whenever she restarts by fasting and then gets back going again, the start is rough but then she's off and losing really quickly again. It's amazing.
