  • new prescription drug released

I heard that a few weeks ago belviq finally got released for prescription weight loss. It took forever after it got FDA approval. Is anyone on it? If so, any luck?

Does anyone know if it is easier or harder to get than the other prescription diet pills? I know the old ones hav ea lot of regulations.

I heard about that too. Thanks for asking this question. I meant to ask it last week but I forgot and didn't end up visiting this forum.

I've heard that it's a combination of phentermine and some kind of anti seizure drug or something like that. I'm not exactly sure how good I feel about taking that kind of combination.

Phentermine is a serious enoguh drug as it is and it has a back track history of being combined with things (fenphen).

I'm going to wait until other people try this one out before i give it a go. I have a bad feeling that it will be taken back down within the next few years.

I heard this only just got released. It took the a pharmaceutical company forever - almost a full year - to get their act in gear after they got their FDA approval for the prescription drug.

It worries me that their study results weren't really terrific - just passable - and that it took them so long to be able to figure things out. I'd rather go with something better known.

I asked my doc about that the last time that I had an appointment and he didn't know that much about it. He didn't even look all that interested. He said that he'd started reading about it and what the new pills had to offer didn't look much different from the old ones except that they don't have time behind them.
