I have been wondering why certain medications cause weight gain. I am not on any medications, but when I gain weight, I know why I am gaining weight (eating too much and then not burning it off.) If weight gain is a mathematical formula i.e. consuming more then you burn then how do certain medications make people gain weight? I can't see a little pill every day causing someone to get fat. A big Mac every day, that I can see. It makes no sense to me how pills can make you fat?
