I am having friends over on the weekend for a BBQ and instead of offering chips, dip, cakes, cookies, candies and deep fried appies I am going to put out fruits and vegetables as snacks instead. If I have to eat healthy then everyone coming to my house will eat healthy too!

That sounds really awesome that you not only think about your health plan but for others too..
Fruits contain more carbohydrate and protein and all essential things required by human body as compare to any other food product and as per a study one can stay fit for whole life even if he/she taking only fruits for diet.
You might have listen that "An apple keeps doctor away"...
