Writing a weight loss blog is a good way of inspiring yourself to keep going on the diet trek. Having people read your struggles, knowing if you succeeded or gave up is a real motivator for the socially conscious. Obviously, I’m not the only person with this idea because weight loss blogs abound on the Net. You can flutter from site to site and read what worked, what didn’t work, and even give encouragement to fellow dieters through the comment sections on their blogs. That’s a hint, by the way.
I like reading weight loss blogs, especially the candid ones because it lets me know what works and what doesn’t. One weight loss blog I was reading talked about this woman’s trial and error with vitamins and supplements and really inspired me to try this one supplement, Holy Basil. Holy Basil didn’t necessarily trim my waistline, but I did notice I was calmer and less stressed about my diet while taking it. You can also read weight loss blogs about fad diets and fad supplements, like the Lemonade Diet or the various Acai Berry products that have flooded the market. Some of the weight loss blogs are out there to push a particular product or supplement and that’s unfortunate for those of us who spent $150 on Super Acai only to see it worked about as effectively as eating tiny pebbles from my driveway. What a waste! Apparently “Super Acai” is about as super as “Original Acai” and “Brazilian Acai”, et cetera.
Check the ingredients before your buy and you may find that the “super” formulas are no more “super” than the bargain basement brand. Be careful whom you listen to when reading these weight loss blogs. There are no “too good to be true” products.
There are, however, effective products that can definitely augment your weight loss program and I will try to call out those that worked for me as I attempt to mold my slightly flabby body into that of Demi Moore’s. I know that probiotics are exceptional supplements for any diet so I have no problem recommending those, and I would also recommend a good multi-vitamin. I’ve used Phentamin-d with some success also, see this thread. As I continue on my weight loss journey I will add to the short list I already have and give you some frank product reviews.
