    Hey everyone. I'm looking for ways to give myself an energy boost that doesn't include stimulants. Can anyone recommend a food or beverage that is good for making me feel more alert?

    I heard that Vitamin B12 is good for energy. You can either take it in supplement form or eat foods that are high in this vitamin. I think protein is also supposed to help give you an energy boost.

      I've heard that Ashwagandha is often used in place of stimulants in weight loss products. I think it gives you a bit of a boost without stimulant side effects. It also supposed to promote good health. Sorry I can't tell you more about it, but that's what I've heard.

        Have you tried caffeine-free Green Tea? You'll still get a metabolism and fat burning boost even without the caffeine.

          Include more protein in your diet. Protein helps to give you energy. Have a high protein snack before you exercise and you'll be good. You might find that you have more energy when you get off caffeine and improve your diet and your sleep.
