  • Amp Citrate Dangerous

I was looking at the ingredients of a diet supplement that I was interested in taking and I saw that the formula contained Amp Citrate. I did a bit of research and found that it looks pretty scary! Is it dangerous?

I've never even heard of Amp Citrate ...I'm kind of scared to ask...what is it?

Amp Citrate is very close to DMAA (1,3-dimethylamylamine), which is a substance that has been banned by the FDA. It causes similar effects, both good and bad. Its a strong central nervous stimulant that can help boost energy levels, metabolism and focus. However, on the downside it increases the risk of unpleasant stimulant side effects like jitters and rapid heartbeat and apparently once it wears off you can experience quite the crash.

I've never heard of this one either. Is it dangerous like synephrine?

It is dangerous. You would be wise to stay away from anything that contains Amp Citrate, synephrine, and bitter orange (which contains synephrine). None of these ingredients have been banned, but studies have found that they can all lead to dangerous side effects.
